Georgy Gromov

The russian pianist Georgy Gromov is born in 1980, and started to reveal his talent for piano at the age of 5, as he began to study at the Dunaevsky Music School in Moscow. During his studies, he earned several scholarships and prizes in International Competitions for children and festivals.

In May 2009 Georgy Gromov participated at the first edition of the Settimo International Piano Competition and more specifically the Maria Golia Prize, a piano competition without age limit.

In 2009 he won the first prize in the Maria Golia group of the Settimo International Piano Competition, and played this at the final concert:
