Riccardo Marra

Riccardo Marra, born in Torino in 1993, has started studying the piano in 2004 with Giovanni Casella in Torino and later with Marina Scalafiotti in the Conservatory of Turin.

In the past years, Riccard Marra has obtained several prizes in the Regional competition “Young Interpreters of Torino” (2nd in 2006 and 2007, 1st in 2008), in the National competition “Terzo Musica Valle Bormida” : 2nd in 2005, 1 absolute in 2006 and 2007, and International Piano Competitions of San Bartolomeo al mare in (4th in 2007, and the International Piano Competition for young pianists of Piossasco (Italy).

In the Settimo International Piano Competition of 2009, he participated to the Fiorina Sismondi Prize, category B, and won the first prize.

2. F.J. Haydn : Variations in F Minor
3. F. Liszt : Sogno d’Amore - RĂªve d’amour
